One of the challenges with an opinion poll like this one .... is that there is no agreed upon definition for what "free market capitalism" means. It means one thing to a Chicago-school economist and something else to a politician; one thing to someone whose job has been exported halfway around the world and something else to an industry titan.
There is also no "status quo is working" option to balance the "it's fatally broken" answer (number 1, yellow).
I am surprised that the phrase resonates as "flawed" with fewer Germans than with Americans; I would have expected that to be the U.S.A.
